The Cabo Rico 45 has proven to be the ultimate example of the offshore design genius of W.I.B. Crealock. Startlingly beautiful, from her delicate stern overhang through her curving sheer, to her arching clipper bow, she is the essence of the fine yacht and the allure of the sea. But the Cabo Rico 45 is also a modern sailing vessel in every sense of the word. She has been given an underbody design to reward you with safety, comfort, and speed, and she boasts the very latest in attached rudder design. Developed using sophisticated computer technology, her lines were then redrawn to achieve the refined performance enhancements that no one except a master naval architect like Bill Crealock can create. Belowdecks, you enter a spacious world of hand-crafted woods, elegant fabrics, and fine fixtures, all in an innovative, custom interior built to suit your needs in port or at sea. Construction techniques and yacht systems are all crafted to the very highest standards befitting the flagship of the Cabo Rico line of offshore cruising yachts. And she has been designed from the outset to carry all of the equipment and stores that modern cruisers wish to take with them. Capture the joy of a Cabo Rico at sea. The Cabo Rico 45, truly a yacht for the connoisseur – the yacht for you.

OVERVIEW
FLORYN has been optimized for short-handed cruising with furling on all sails, electric Lewmar primary and main sheet winches and a new (2021) Vetus bow thruster. Her interior, in the time proven tradition of Cabo Rico Yachts, is beautifully crafted of native Costa Rican blonde teak. The quality of the interior fit and finish is superior to any of today’s production sailboats.
LAYOUT
Starting forward there is a large split chain locker divided port and starboard. Next aft is the owner’s stateroom with queen sized centerline berth plus en-suite head with separate shower stall. This stateroom has generous storage areas: the sub-berth, with gas lifting cylinders, opens wide for a cavernous storage area for unusually large objects. Numerous lockers and drawers meet all of the storage needs of long-term liveaboard owners.
The main salon features a large U-shaped settee to port with seating for six around a beautifully inlaid teak table. To starboard is a comfortable armchair finished with ultra-suede, followed aft by the full-function navigation station.
Aft to port, suitably on the axis of motion, is an ergonomically conceived, L-shaped galley with Corian counter tops and deep stainless double sinks on centerline. Refrigeration includes both top and side access. Wet locker and ice maker are at the bottom of the companionway steps. Aft to starboard is the guest stateroom with double berth and joining head and shower. Trash compacter to port of double sink. GE microwave above refrigerator.
